Garland County Jail Roster
The Garland County Detention Center links its public inmate roster to the Garland County Public Inquiry Site at findtheinmate.com. That roster is free and does not require a login. It is built for current adult custody at the Garland County Detention Center, the county jail operated by the Garland County Sheriff's Office under Sheriff Mike McCormick. The current roster is the first channel for a person booked by Garland County S.O., Hot Springs P.D., or another local agency whose arrestees are housed in the county jail.
Garland County inmate records split by custody type. The county roster covers pretrial adults, county-sentenced inmates, local police arrestees, probation or failure-to-appear holds, and some state backup or waiting-list cases while the person is still in the jail. It does not replace the Arkansas DOC inmate locator for sentenced state prisoners, the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator for federal prisoners, or ICE ODLS for immigration custody. The Garland County Juvenile Detention Center is also separate, and juvenile records are not searched through the adult roster.

Use Garland County Inmate Records
The Garland County Public Inquiry Site loads a current adult list and then lets the user search one field at a time. The roster may first show a loading message while the page posts to its backend. If scripts are blocked or the roster stalls, the practical fallback is to try another browser and then call the jail. Generated profile URLs under the roster system are temporary and should not be treated as permanent citations.
- Open the county detention page and choose Inmate Roster, or go directly to the Garland County roster.
- Let the roster load before searching. The full adult list can be browsed by leaving the value blank and using the default name field.
- Choose one field from the dropdown, such as Name, Booking Number, Booking Date, Charge, Age, Race, Sex, or S.O. Number.
- Enter the value in the search box. For Sex, the captured format expects M or F.
- Review the result row for name, booking date, age, race, and sex, then click the row to open the inmate profile.
- Use the printer-friendly link or VINELink link from the profile only after checking that the record matches the correct person.
For same-name searches, match several facts before relying on the record. Garland County roster names appear in a last-name-first format, while court records may show first, middle, and last name fields. Booking date, arrest agency, age, charge text, and court assignment help separate people with similar names.

Garland County Inmate Profile
A Garland County inmate profile shows more than the result row. The sampled current adult profile displayed an inmate photo, name, address fields, age, race, booking date, booking time, days incarcerated, and a charge table. The charge table connected each listed offense with bond amount, arrest agency, court, court date, and disposition. The public sample did not show date of birth, height, weight, hair color, eye color, housing pod, judge, warrant number, statute code, or projected release date.

Booking charges can differ from formal court charges. For filed charges after the arrest, use Garland County court records after jail arrest and match the case by name, filing date, court, and offense details.
Garland County Records Fallbacks
The Garland County access chain should not stop at the online roster. The county publishes multiple official channels: jail receptionist, booking department, main detention phone, public counter, NextRequest, state DOC, BOP, ICE, and VINELink. No official Garland County Sheriff app with an app-only inmate roster or warrant search was located in the research, so the website roster and these fallback channels remain the documented route.

For records not visible in current Garland County inmate records, use the county public-records request notice and the Garland County NextRequest portal. A request should identify the person, booking date, arresting agency, and the record sought. Arkansas jail standards require jail logs or detention records to include core custody data, but exemptions, sealing, juvenile confidentiality, and active law-enforcement limits can restrict release.
Garland County Jail Versus DOC
A person arrested in Garland County may begin at the Garland County Detention Center and later move to the Arkansas Department of Corrections after sentencing or while waiting for a DOC bed. The DOC locator is separate from the county roster and has different fields, including ADC number, county, first and last name, facility, sex, offense category, age, race, and a required disclaimer checkbox.

Federal defendants from Garland County fall within the Western District of Arkansas and may pass through U.S. Marshals custody before BOP custody. ICE custody uses a separate detainee locator and contact center. These systems do not use Garland County roster profile pages.

Adult onsite visitors must arrive 15 minutes early and bring government photo ID. The county allows two visitors per visit, with children under five not counted toward the two. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, adult family member, or legal guardian. The detention center is tobacco-free, and personal items should be left in the vehicle or placed in lockers when available.

Mail and Garland County Inmates
The Garland County commissary and mail page routes communications through SmartInmate, Smart.JailMail, and InmateCanteen. Since June 1, 2023, regular postal mail for adult inmates goes to Smart Communications / Garland Co. Det. Ctr., with the inmate name and booking or ID number, at PO Box 9141, Seminole, FL 33775-9141. Mail sent to the jail building after that date is returned to sender.
The booking or ID number matters for mail because the vendor scans regular postal mail into the kiosk system. Released inmates can later use SmartInmate.com with their inmate number and password to download photos, messages, and postal mail for free. Commissary information is linked through TEAM3.InmateCanteen.com, and the county says lobby kiosks are operational, but deposit fee details were not published on the county page.
Property release is handled by inmate request. The inmate must name the family member or friend who can receive the property. The county visitation material says property release occurs during business hours and is generally released in full, except clothing and shoes for release or transfer. Property not picked up within 30 days after release or transport may be destroyed.
